Ireland to take soundings over EU joining UK-led sanctions against far-right Israeli ministers
Ireland will “take soundings” in the next fortnight on the chances of the EU joining in with sanctions taken by several countries against two far-right ministers in the Israeli government.
Sweden is demanding that the EU take tougher action to pressure Israel, as appeals have not eased the situation for civilians in Gaza.
