In Mali, the city of Nioro of the Sahel, in the south-western part of the country, on the Mauritanian border, has been subjected to the blockade imposed by the Jihadists of Jnim, linked to al-Qaeda. Today, the inhabitants of this locality live in an extremely precarious situation. Displacement outside the city is prevented, food and other basic needs are scarce.
