Major UK travel company enters liquidation with all booking cancelled
The Civil Aviation Authority said many bookings are not ATOL-protected, leaving some customers with no refund route.
- On January 13, 2026, London-based travel agency Regen Central Ltd entered liquidation and ceased trading after losing its Air Travel Organiser's Licence , cancelling all future trips.
- Founded in 2009, the agency specialised in holiday packages to Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, operating under brands including Regen Travels, One Haji and Umrah, and Oneworld Travels.
- The Civil Aviation Authority stated the firm held no outstanding ATOL-protected bookings, meaning no refunds will be issued for accommodation-only or non-flight packages.
- A CAA spokesman advised that customers believing they are owed a refund for ATOL-protected bookings should "please contact us via email at claims@caa.co.uk."
- Recent months have seen other UK travel firms collapse, including Gold Crest Holidays, Great Little Escapes, Jetline Travel, and Asiara, reflecting broader instability in the travel sector.
