A report commissioned by the Prime Minister and made public by the General Inspectorate of Finance on Thursday, 20 August, considered a possible inability to adopt the 2027 budget. Thus, the use of the special law "would expose the country to certain difficulties".
A lack of agreement in Parliament could lead to an extended special law for the 2027 budget, with significant consequences for public finances, the economy and state aid.
