Major international airline increasing flights to and from UK as part of expansion
The carrier will add daily Manchester and Gatwick service and launch new Munich and Madrid routes as it expands its European network.
Singapore Airlines announced on Friday a significant expansion of its European network, increasing service frequencies to Manchester, London Gatwick, Milan, and Munich to meet growing demand across the continent.
Starting July 13, 2026, the carrier will operate daily flights between Manchester and Singapore, up from five per week, responding to strong demand for European travel.
London Gatwick services will increase to daily from October 25, 2026, giving the airline six total daily flights to London including four existing Heathrow routes.
The carrier will launch a new Madrid route using the Airbus A350-900, marking its 15th European destination, while discontinuing the Singapore-Milan-Barcelona service from October 27, 2026.
All updated schedules remain subject to regulatory approval, with tickets for the new Madrid route expected to go on sale in June 2026.
