Monsoon floods sweep away 18 people and the main bridge linking Nepal to China
RASUWA DISTRICT, NEPAL, JUL 8 – Heavy monsoon rains triggered a flash flood that destroyed critical infrastructure and left 18 people missing, including Nepali and Chinese nationals, officials said.
- Floods caused by heavy rains in Nepal on Tuesday destroyed a key bridge connecting Nepal and China, killing one person and leaving 17 missing.
