SNCF: SUD-Rail union calls on controllers to strike on May 9, 10 and 11

The SUD-Rail trade union called for controllers and drivers. On Saturday, April 5, the national collective of ASCT controllers decided to support the movement.

This union is planning a strike of the TGV controllers in the middle of the 8-May bridge.

Very active during the Christmas strikes of 2022 and February 2024, the CNA collective supports the call of Sud-Rail. The union plans to stop the trains from 9 to 11 May.

The CNA, an influential collective of controllers, announced this Saturday, April 5th that it supports the strike from May 9th to 11th, launched by the SUD Rail union to denounce the working conditions of the agents and demand a salary increase.

On Thursday 8 May being a holiday, many French people planned to leave for a long weekend.

Sud-Rail envisages a call to strike train drivers for Wednesday, May 7. This possible mobilization is synonymous with disruptions in traffic, while May 8 is a day usually very popular with travellers.
