Nearly 75,000 Dodge Durangos Recalled over Problems with Rear Spoiler
The defect could damage the spoiler when the liftgate is used and increase the risk it detaches, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.

- FCA, LLC discovered that certain vehicles "were built with rear spoilers that may be over-flush to the roof, allowing contact to the roof when cycling the liftgate." The issue stems from assembly, not a part defect.
- The automaker has recorded 161 instances "potentially relating to this issue" as of July 29. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration officials stated drivers may hear the "spoiler hit the body when opening or closing the liftgate, or a rattle from the spoiler being loose while driving."
