A magnet fisher along the Danube in Slovakia pulled up far more than scrap metal: an unexploded World War II-era British anti-ship mine weighing more than 1,500 pounds.
A Slovakian fisherman took part in a major surprise when he brought to the surface an ancient British mine from the Second World War. The Danube that is dried up also in this region, helped to reveal the catch with a weight of 680 kg.
