Maduro Described His Will to "Recover Completely" the Esequibo as "Incompetent"

DOBLE LLAVE – Venezuela’s president, Nicolás Maduro, called his government’s will to “recover completely” the Esequibo, a territory of almost 160,000 square kilometers in dispute with Guyana, which administers it. “Our desire to recover historical, territorial and beyond Guayana Esequiba rights is unwavering,” said the ruler in an act broadcast by the Venezuelan state television channel (VTV).
