The German family-owned company EBM-Papst will be sold to the USA. Madison Air will take over the fan specialist from Baden-Württemberg for almost five billion euros.
Of the 13 000 employees, 5800 are employed in Germany. The company's headquarters are to remain in Mulfingen near Heilbronn.
