The quality of the work carried out in the regional Judo has once again been demonstrated, with the "excellent results" achieved at the National Youth Championship, held in Rio Maior. According to a note from the Judo Association of the Autonomous Region of Madeira "the young Madeiran athletes were on a large scale, winning titles, podium positions and standings in one of the most important national competitions of the climb".
