Madawaska Valley says “Not Yet” to brush burning as fire ban continues

One Renfrew County community says they’re not ready for open-air fires, even as we get closer to winter. Township staff with Madawaska Valley say their level one fire ban is still in effect until further notice. While campfires are allowed under the ban, the township says residents and guests are not allowed fires over 2 feet by 2 feet, as well as no daytime burning.
