The Czech opposition has said that Prague looks ambiguous, sending Foreign Minister Petro Matsinka to Washington as an observer for the first meeting of US President Donald Trump's so-called “Peace Council”.
The President of Poland Karol Nawrocki decided not to participate in the founding meeting of the new Peace Council of the American President Donald Trump on February 19, but to send his advisor for international politics as an observer.

The first meeting of the Peace Council, established in January at the initiative of US President Donald Trump, will be held in Washington on Thursday. Around 30 leaders have accepted the invitation to participate, but most European countries will not be among the members. Critics warn that the creation of such a body undermines the foundations of the international order led by the UN.
Foreign Minister Petr Macinka (Motorists for Themselves) will attend Thursday's opening of the Peace Council in Washington. This was confirmed to the news by Czech diplomatic spokesman Adam Čörgő. Macinka will be an observer at the meeting, as agreed with Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO).
