Macias Shoots Three Under to Lead Wave in Second Round of American Championship

Freshman Sophia Macias made the most of moving day at the American Conference Championship as she jumped 24 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for sixth overall through two rounds. Macias carded a 69 (-3) on Tuesday to climb from 30th to sixth ahead of the third and final round of the tournament Wednesday.
