Macao's secretary for economy and finance, Tai Kin-ip, has resigned for personal reasons. According to the Macao government, the resignation was submitted some time ago. Macao’s chief executive, Sam Hou-fai, then proposed to the central government that Tai be relieved of his duties in line with the relevant legislation.
