In the Flemish Parliament, alcohol has already been banned from the parliamentary bar, but not yet in the federal parliament. A good thing, says N-VA MP Maaike De Vreese. "When do you have a drink there? Late on a Thursday evening, after a long session. Why shouldn't you be allowed to have a glass of beer or wine? There are still people who have a drink after work," says De Vreese in an interview with the Krant van West-Vlaanderen.
