Carnival of Slopes: 650 Demonstrators Despite Prefecture Ban

The Rhône prefecture decided to ban the Carnaval des Pentes in Lyon on Thursday 22 May by pointing the finger at the excesses in previous editions. Despite this ban, 650 demonstrators gathered in Lyon.

In an order, this Thursday 22 May, the Rhône prefecture banned the "Carnival des Pentes 2025" scheduled this Friday 23 May at 8 pm at Gros Caillou, on the Place de la Croix-Rousse (Lyon 4th).
