Police officers hunted a vehicle after a refusal to comply on 7 May in Lyon. During their escape, the individuals fired with a firearm on several occasions. Two men were arrested and one policeman injured. An investigation is under way.
The refusal to comply began in Lyon 7th on Thursday at around 5:40 p.m. and ended in Montluel in the Ain. Two individuals were arrested. During the intervention, one police officer had to use his weapon, after another was hit by the vehicle.
A follow-up race began on Thursday, 7 May, at around 5.45 p.m. Avenue Jean-Jaurès, Lyon, after a refusal to comply. According to BFM Lyon, shots were exchanged with the police. Two men were arrested and one policeman was wounded.
From Lyon to Montluel, the police chased via the A6 towards Villefranche-sur-Saône, a vehicle with three individuals armed with a sawed cannon who fired in the direction of the bikers. A policeman used his weapon to immobilize the vehicle and interrogate the young fugitives.
A follow-up race of about thirty minutes was held on Thursday 7 May between Lyon and Montluel, in Ain, after a refusal to comply. According to several consistent sources, at least one occupant of the vehicle opened fire in the direction of the police, who replied.
