Lumbinima 1600 Trained Armed Guards Increase Operations After Forecast of Heavy Rains

Keeping in view the possibility of extremely heavy rains in Lumbini region, Armed Guard Force Nepal has kept 1,632 manpower in readiness along with rescue material for disaster response which may lead to floods, rains and drownings. According to the forecast of water and meteorology, there is a possibility of active weather system which can cause very heavy rainfall in Nepal from 8th to 12th August.
