The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the transfer of the Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre (JPNIC) to private companies on a 30-year lease. Rockwood Hotels & Resorts Private Limited and Vrindavan Bottlers will be granted the rights to operate the centre. Under this lease agreement, both companies will pay ₹831 crore to the Uttar Pradesh Development Authority (LDA).
The Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre (JPNIC) in Gomti Nagar will be jointly operated by two private companies. The state government has approved the lease of JPNIC to Vrindavan Bottlers Private Limited and Rockwood Hotels & Resorts Private Limited for 30 years.
