In Buddheshwar, Lucknow, a municipal corporation and police team, which had arrived to conduct a campaign against people spreading cow dung and filth, was attacked by 20-25 people. The accused strangled a police inspector and attacked him with a chain on the head. Police have arrested two women in connection with the incident.
Six people, including two women, have been arrested so far in connection with the attack on the encroachment removal team. Police have filed a case against 15 accused.
