BATON ROUGE — LSU Hall of Fame gymnastics coach Armando Vega died at the age of 90 on Monday at his home in Dallas. Vega served as the Tigers' men's gymnastics coach from 1972 to 1984, securing the NCAA Gymnastics Coach of the Year award in both 1977 and 1978.
