Second tropical depression in 2025 could form by Monday: CWA - Focus Taiwan
Taipei, June 7 (CNA) A tropical disturbance off the southeastern coast of the Philippines may form into the second tropical depression of the 2025 Western Pacific typhoon season as early as Monday, according to Taiwan's Central Weather Administration (CWA) on Saturday.
There is a low pressure area currently being monitored within the Philippine Area of Responsibility. As of 3 pm yesterday, the LPA was located 340 km northeast of Virac, Catanduanes, according to PAGASA. It has a medium chance of developing into a tropical depression within 24 days.
