Oakdale Couple Accused of Child Rape, Human Trafficking Found in Tenn.
HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE, JUL 24 – The couple had been wanted for nearly a year for multiple serious offenses including human trafficking and drug conspiracy, authorities said.
- On July 22, 2025, the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Tabitha Robison and Marvin Clement Jr. at a primitive campsite off Rocky Hollow Road on the Holston River near Surgoinsville, Tennessee.
- The U.S. Marshals Service listed the couple as wanted for sexual assault of a child, rape, human trafficking and drug conspiracy, after nearly a year on the run.
- The U.S. Marshals Greenville office received a tip from Louisiana authorities, leading the Smoky Mountains Task Force to capture Robison and Clement and end an 11-month multi-state manhunt in coordination with Tennessee authorities.
- In Hawkins County Jail, Robison and Clement await extradition while the alleged victim remains in safe custody.
- Tracking suspects across state lines for nearly a year, investigators held the couple on Louisiana's wanted list as local police probe the case.
