Nine parties have expressed significant interest in a possible restart of the Coldenhove paper factory in Eerbeek. This is evident from the first bankruptcy report, which RTL reported on Wednesday. According to the receiver, there were initially eighteen interested parties. Half of them have received a so-called bid book, and various bids have already been received.
The Coldenhove paper mill in Eerbeek, which went bankrupt in early May, operated at a loss of millions for years. In the three years leading up to the bankruptcy, losses amounted to around 14 million euros. Despite those red figures and the months that have passed since then, the bankruptcy trustee still sees room for a restart.
