- Authorities reported that about 100 vehicles participated in the first takeover early Saturday at 2:30 a.m., with a similar gathering occurring at the same intersection around 3 a.m. Sunday.
- Workers have been repeatedly cleaning up and securing damaged windows and doors, with employee Rodrigo telling FOX 11 he wears a bullet-resistant vest because he feels unsafe. "We're doing it 24/7," Rodrigo said.
- The East Los Angeles Station will deploy additional patrol resources to the area as detectives investigate, while authorities confirmed another AutoZone in Watts was targeted during a separate street takeover Sunday.
