I’ve learned a couple interesting things on Saturday trips to take my trash and recycling to a local drop-off center. First, WDEV’s “Music to Go to the Dump By” continues to play wonderfully corny music. Longview had curbside recycling for years, but it was paused for about a year in 2024 because the facility that processed the recyclables was destroyed in a fire.
