- Last week, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office launched a two-person cold case unit, staffed by Special Deputy Jim Lindsay and Detective George Oplinger, the agency announced.
- Authorities reopened the case in 2019, using public genealogy data to identify Hope's parents.
