WALLA WALLA COUNTY – The Washington State Patrol said Tuesday a logging truck accident about three miles west of Waitsburg was the result of that truck’s driver improperly passing another vehicle on eastbound U.S. 12. WALLA WALLA COUNTY — U.S. Highway 12 is closed in both directions between Minnick and Waitsburg after a log truck rolled, blocking both lanes, according to the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Department of Transportation.
