POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KBSI) — A Butler County firefighter died in the line of duty Friday after a fire truck crash while responding to a brush fire north of Poplar Bluff. The Butler County Fire Protection District said Shift Commander Jackson Warren, 27, died from injuries sustained in the crash on March 6.
