Plans for 'radical' revamp of East Kilbride town centre

MEMBERS of the public are to have an opportunity to see progress made on a masterplan aiming to transform East Kilbride’s town centre. The plan includes the build of up to 400 new homes to create a new town centre neighbourhood; delivery of a new civic hub, supermarket, and hotel; a 42% reduction in existing retail floorspace; and transformation of entrance points.
