Local View: Stauber could have killed bill that will hurt his constituents

Early in the morning on May 22, U.S. Rep. Pete Stauber of Hermantown cast a deciding vote for a budget bill that will hurt many of his constituents. The House Republican budget bill passed by one vote, 215-214. Had Stauber voted no, the bill would have failed.
