- On June 24, Wayne Church from North Vancouver was formally accused of falsely representing himself as a peace officer and employing equipment intended to deceive the public into believing he was one.
- The charges follow reports from March 1 that Church pulled over a Tesla driver while driving a Ford F-150 with lights resembling emergency vehicle lights.
- Police reported that Church did not have on an official police uniform or present any form of police identification, and they believe there may be additional individuals who were stopped by him.
