Local classroom's National Book Challenge submission named finalist

Ashley Shuman’s fourth grade class at Hayward Intermediate School was recently named a finalist in the National Book Challenge. The class’ submission, “What’s Your Plan?”, was a collaborative effort to write and illustrate a book for publication.
