Lloyds, Bank of Scotland and Halifax Apps Showed Customers Other Users' Transactions
A technical glitch briefly exposed other customers’ transactions and sensitive data on three major UK banking apps; hundreds reported issues, Lloyds Banking Group said.

- DownDetector recorded complaint surges from about 7am with a sharper spike between 10am and 11am on Thursday, while Martin Lewis highlighted reports and regulators said they are making enquiries.
- The group serves approximately 26 million customers and faced outages in January–February 2025, with about 700,000 affected, raising questions about app resilience.
