During King Willem-Alexander's procession from Noordeinde Palace to the Speech from the Throne at the Royal Theatre, his carriage passed a group of demonstrators on the Lange Voorhout. They shouted slogans including "long live the republic," "where are the animals?" and "fewer grenades, more diplomats" at the King, an ANP reporter saw and heard.
