Illegal migrants who were denied entry to Lithuania threw stones at border guards and damaged their SUV, the State Border Guard Service (SBS) reported on Friday. The incident was recorded on Thursday evening in the Lazdijai district. The Lithuanian border with Belarus runs along the Mara River in this place. A physical barrier has been installed on Lithuanian territory right next to the border with Belarus to protect against illegal migrants.
