15 Million Euros Worth of Smuggled Cigarettes Seized This Year, Illegal Smokers From Latvia on the Rise

Customs Criminal Service officers have already seized 15 million euros worth of cigarettes this year, as illegal cigarette flows from Latvia are increasing, the Customs Criminal Service said on Saturday. 3.3 million packs of illegal cigarettes were seized in the first half of 2025. Last year, Lithuanian customs seized a total of 4.76 million packs of cigarettes during the year.
