Employees of the Customs Criminal Service of Lithuania in 2025 seized smuggled cigarettes worth 15 million euros.
Customs Criminal Service officers have already seized 15 million euros worth of cigarettes this year, as illegal cigarette flows from Latvia are increasing, the Customs Criminal Service said on Saturday. 3.3 million packs of illegal cigarettes were seized in the first half of 2025. Last year, Lithuanian customs seized a total of 4.76 million packs of cigarettes during the year.
