Lithuania’s Energy Ministry on Wednesday proposed significantly increasing the country's reserve of generators following a storm last month that left almost 270,000 consumers without electricity.
Lithuania is preparing itself against storms: the Ministry of Energy is planning a reserve of thousands of generators and the expansion of earth cables.
After a storm that raged two and a half weeks ago left almost 270,000 consumers without electricity, a small number of whom still do not have it, the Ministry of Energy proposes to significantly increase the reserve of generators, which would be distributed to municipalities if necessary.
