The National Book Centre announced on Tuesday 16 December that Paul Gasnier had won the Goncourt Award for Prisoners with The Collision (Gallimard). In this first novel, the journalist recounts the death of his mother in a bicycle accident caused by a young man who made a rear wheel on a motorcycle.
