Hong Kong has concluded an issue of digital green bonds worth 20 billion local dollars (2,247 million euros), the largest digital debt transaction recorded to date at global level.
The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced that it has successfully priced digital green bonds worth approximately HK$20 billion under the Government Sustainable Bond Scheme, covering Hong Kong dollars, renminbi, US dollars and euros, once again breaking the record for the world's largest digital bond issuance.
