LINKIN PARK Announce Documentary ‘Unshatter’ Chronicling Band’s Return
Directed by Joe Hahn, the film follows Linkin Park’s comeback with Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain and includes rare archival footage and live performances.
On Tuesday, rock band Linkin Park announced that Unshatter, a new documentary directed by band member Joe Hahn, will arrive in theaters worldwide starting September 30.
Directed by Hahn, the film offers an intimate look at the band's creative process and emotional comeback following the 2017 death of vocalist Chester Bennington, capturing uncertainty during their return.
The documentary explores the addition of new vocalist Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain, while the band releases the Unshatter Film Soundtrack featuring performances from their Paulo concert on September 25.
Hahn explained that he wanted the documentary to showcase the band's journey through loss and reinvention, hoping fans connect with it as a story about resilience and moving forward.
As one of the defining rock bands of the 21st century, Linkin Park reformed in 2024, seven years after Bennington's death, in a move that proved divisive at the time.
