Lincoln’s town office is closed after a cyberattack. Lincoln’s IT provider alerted the town Saturday that parts of its network had been encrypted, according to the town government. The infected parts of the system were isolated to prevent any spread. Lincoln is working to restore its system without reinfecting it. Lincoln warned that this could disrupt some services. The town office was closed Monday and will reopen as soon as possible.
