Damage to buildings is not to be expected. A trembling and weak shaking was perceived.
In Tyrol, the earth has quaked several times in the past weeks. During the night on today, another Earth impact of the magnitude 3.7 was recorded at Hall, which was perceived by numerous people.
On 07.10.2026 around 03:02 in the morning, the Earth shook again in the Hall area. According to GeoSphere Austria, the quake reached a strength of 3.7 of the Richter scale. The quake was clearly noticeable in large parts around Hall and Innsbruck and probably shook one or the other out of sleep. Shortly afterwards at 03:10 there was another quake of the strength 1.9 which was not so noticeable anymore. Damage is not to be expected in such quakes!
On Sunday afternoon, an earthquake occurred about five kilometres northeast of Innsbruck. As reported by the Austrian Earthquake Service of GeoSphere Austria, the magnitude of the earthquake was 2.1.
