Lies of P to Receive Difficulty Options when Prequel DLC Releases

Round8 Studio and Neowiz will release Lies of P: Overture, a prequel DLC set in summer 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The DLC responds to player feedback by adding two new difficulty options to welcome more players beyond the traditional challenging gameplay.
Overture introduces new enemies, weapons, a mode called Battle Memories, and a boss rush mode named Death March within a dark world before the Puppet Uprising.
Game Director Jiwon Choi explained that during the development of Overture, they considered it closely linked to Lies of P rather than an independent project, describing the two together as delivering a complete and unified experience.
The DLC and difficulty patch aim to balance appeal for hardcore and new players, potentially expanding the player base and preparing fans for the upcoming sequel.
