Lidl introduces the digital Pfandbon nationwide. From 4 August, paper is only optional – that's behind the changeover and that's how the app works.
With more than 500 million returned beverage packaging, Lidl and nearly 2.7 million Kifli.hu have become significant players in the national bottle return system launched in 2024. The two companies involve customers in sustainability in different but equally effective ways: one with store network REpoints, the other with door-to-door collection.
