Lexington council advances rezoning, adds stop signs and hears public concerns on cemetery conditions

Lexington City Council reviewed rezoning at 110 E. River Road and discussed street naming at their May 26 meeting, with Ordinance 2484 passing its first reading and plans to name a new right-of-way 24th Street. Citizen concerns regarding Greenwood Cemetery’s maintenance and safety were also addressed.
