Lewiston Adult Education grad credits ‘extraordinary’ teacher

Doors open at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend the ceremony, which will feature State Sen. Peggy Rotundo as the keynote speaker.

She was first elected to the Maine state legislature in 2000 and recently retired after serving his sixth non-consecutive term in the Maine Senate, having also served four terms in the Maine House of Representatives and as chair of the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee. The ceremony will also include Innocencia Pedro as the student speaker, faculty awards and a presentation of the annual Community Partner Award. Lewiston Adult Education provides High School Equivalency Test preparation and testing through flexible daytime and evening class options designed to meet the needs of adult learners seeking to earn their high school credential.
