On February 16th, Vorarlberg today reported on cost-cutting measures at Feldkirch Hospital. Among other things, they are cutting back on the amount of soup (liquid only) served to patients and on pumpkin seed oil for staff. I find this truly shameful. Meanwhile, elsewhere, perfectly functioning departments, recently renovated at a cost of millions of euros, are being closed down and then relocated to another hospital.
